After china joined WTO on November 26th, 2001, China has played a more important role in global economic stage. Chinese economy will face the global market, and the global market will pay more attention to Chinese market as well. Chinese enterprises are facing unprecedented challenge as well as opportunities. Chinese enterprises will have a very good chance to enter global market. China is a huge country, but at the moment, China is not an active participant in global economy. Chinese enterprises don’t influence global economy a lot, even neither on Asian economy. There are only countable big enterprises, which have entered global market or have been ready to enter by acquiring local company or setting up overseas subsidiaries. But it needs a very long period for Chinese companies to play the dominant role in global market. For this condition, it is essential that the enterprise must improve their inside management level and adapt themselves in accordance with internal economic situation. Chinese companies management level is not high. There are still a lot of weaknesses in corporate management. It is still a big disparity between global giants and Chinese companies. According to the research about Chinese enterprise competitive ability situation, which will appear in the part three of the thesis, Chinese enterprises competitive ability is much weaker than global giants, which lie four sides: corporate inside competitive ability, management competitive ability and general competitive ability. The research indicates Chinese enterprises are not only weaker than the global giants, but also some Asian enterprises.
